IIS, Inc is pleased to announce the addition of Theresa Bell as our Instructional Technology Director. Theresa is known as a frequent presenter at state conferences delivering sessions integrating research based instructional practices with current technology.
Theresa graduated from East Carolina University in 1984 with a BS in French and a concentration in Spanish. In 1999 she received a Masters in Library Science from ECU. Theresa taught in NC public schools for 18 years. During that time, she served as an elementary French teacher, a Media-Coordinator and as an Instructional Technology Facilitator at one of the first IMPACT Model Schools in North Carolina.
Theresa served as Director of Partnership Development for the Centers for Quality Teaching & Learning from 2006 - 2011. She helped schools and districts develop comprehensive plans for school improvement with a focus on professional development. She also served as an adjunct instructor for QTL delivering programs when needed.
